Short Story - 976 Words
As the sun began to rise above the horizon, the blazing orange sky lit up the surroundings as the fiery embers of fuel began to spit and spread smoky fumes across the sky. Jahin, 26 years old is suited up and ready to go through the entrance of the rocket. He is known to be a tall, muscular man with no broken bone to be identified. His helmet consisted of a shiny metallic lustre with a midnight blue and noir black texture to portray it. It is also defined as having thick transparent glass to help see and identify the surroundings he is in. His suit is substantial, large as well as soft as it contains the logos of the association of the country and planet where he is situated at this stage. It also consists of a soft furry material coatedâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦As he began to wonder, NASA hooked on to the radio and told him two cool facts. ââ¬Å"Hey Jahinâ⬠ââ¬Å"Hey NASA you canââ¬â¢t believe what I just saw!â⬠replied Jahin ââ¬Å"We have been tracking your progress and did you know that Saturnââ¬â¢s rings are made from small particles of water ice and trace components of rocky materialâ⬠said NASA professionally ââ¬Å"Wow! and I have been doing some research and it said that a supernova radiates more energy than our sunâ⬠ââ¬Å"Good to know, but for now we have to go, call us if you need any helpâ⬠ââ¬Å"Sure Nasa, Sureâ⬠It is 6:00pm now and Jahin has decisively crossed the border of the asteroid belt and was heading straight towards the the Earthââ¬â¢s atmosphere which was only 265km away. He started preparing readily and immediately as he knew that the atmosphere wasnââ¬â¢t going to go easy on him. ââ¬Å"Okay, now I am finally up to the hard part of this mission, Iââ¬â¢ve got confidence that I would easily seal the border as NASA has added special features to the rocket which I am situated inâ⬠Then there was trouble, the rocket began to ââ¬Å"screech!â⬠and in a matter of time, it substantially hit a massive rock piece which was floating around the dark blue and white dotted milky way. Furthermore, the impact caused the fuel tank considerably to break apart and the rocket was no longer travelling at a stable pace.
