For Heidi with Blue Hair Analysis

In the beginning, Heidi seems like a rather rebellious teenager. She tarnishs her dogshit in ultramarine with jet-black spikes on top. These tawdry and intense colours convey ferocity, giving Heidi an individualistic and unmated appearance. However, by colour her hair in such tall colours, Heidi is showing an exercise of defying the accepted norms of the school. Although dyed hair is not specifically forbidden, it still resulted in her being sent nursing home from school since the school views this as an answer of defiance and rebellion.
